About This Site
This site is aimed at new writers regardless of age,
location, education, who are serious about writing and want to get their
work out into the public forum, whether this is so they can receive feedback
on their techniques or so they can say to publishers "I've been published".
For those looking for "experience" and to
build a body of work to add to CV and impress, they will be able to state
"I've been published and here is an example"
For those just starting out or considering a writing career, it can provide
a opportunity to receive feedback on their work, from their peers, professional
writers and readers alike.
The site will publish the writing of any skill,
genre or style.
I will include anything that captures my imagination,
stimulates my mind. Of course there will have to be some guidelines, currently
these stand at;
No explicit sexual references or language.
For those that are worried that inclusion may based
on my taste, only one book has ever sent me to sleep, and there is only
one book that I have started that I have yet to finish, and I still intend
to finish it: If I buy a book I wont part with it, even if I hate it,
and I don't dislike any books 'I' own.
Books I can see from my seat at the PC include:
- Oscar Wilde
- William Gibson
- Anne Rice
- Jules Verne
- Shakespeare
- The Bronte Sisters
- Daniel Keyes
- Michael Moorcock
- Jane Austen
- Plus the many others scattered around the flat.
So you can see that I am pretty much open to any submission
you wish to send.
Submission is free and reading is free
and this is not a profit making venture; the hosting will ultimately be
supported using affiliate programmes and sponsorship deals.
Remember this site is to promote you - so go on submit
something - the worst I can say is "Yes" :-)
